Read the Closing GuideHow do I send my funds for closing?
Under the NRS Good Funds Policy, all funds due at closing by all parties are wired to the NRS escrow account before your closing, so everyone can be paid on closing day. Before you wire, please call us at a number you know is ours and we’ll confirm the instructions with you.
What identification do I need to bring?
Buyers and sellers each need one valid, unexpired form of photo identification. Please also bring any original documents requested by our firm, your agent or your lender.
Why do I need owner’s title insurance if an attorney examined the title?
No examination, however thorough, can reveal hidden defects such as forgery, deeds from minors, missing heirs or similar names. An owner’s policy insures you against these risks for a one-time premium, for as long as you own the home.
What if I can’t attend the closing?
We’ll help you plan for it. Let us know as soon as possible and we’ll walk you through your options. Additional approvals and fees may apply.
Can you accommodate special requests?
Yes. We’re happy to arrange wheelchair access, welcome language translators or schedule separate closing times. Please let us know in advance. Additional fees may apply.
